Science Outreach aims to engage the science academic community by helping to develop and support existing and new outreach program opportunities, Broader Impact proposals, locating community partners, and promoting information and resource exchange. Science Outreach offers opportunities to support the mission to increase and support diverse, equitable, and inclusive opportunities for students, researchers, faculty, and staff to develop outreach program ideas and proposals by creating collaborative partnerships with the surrounding community to advance scientific research, scholarship, and service.

Participate in a Science Outreach Opportunity

For Princeton University undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, researchers, and faculty

Science Outreach volunteers offer curated science experiences for educational communities. Volunteers are frequently needed for new outreach opportunities at area schools and community programs. Start now preparing an engaging session for elementary, middle, or high school students. Volunteers are needed for Astrophysical Sciences, Center for Statistics and Machine Learning, Chemistry, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Geosciences, Mathematics, Molecular Biology, Physics, Princeton Neuroscience Institute, and Psychology.

Please reach out to Associate Director of Science Outreach, Paryn Wallace if you would like to set up a meeting to discuss your department’s outreach efforts or to enhance your current outreach footprint in the community. Student groups (undergraduate and graduate), labs, research groups, and individuals are encouraged to participate.
