Due to the large volume of applications, please do not call or email the LLP program to inquire about the status of your application. If you are accepted into the program, you will receive an acceptance email. Students who are not selected will NOT be contacted individually by email. Please DO NOT CONTACT Science Outreach to check on the status of your application. Please do not contact faculty. We had over 3,000 applications last year (2024) and it takes time to process applications and acceptances. Thank you for understanding.
The LLP Team
The application period is from February 15 to March 15, 2025 during which time online applications will be accepted for Summer 2025.
No mail-in applications will be accepted.
We advise the applicant to prepare their application on a separate sheet, e.g. in Word to facilitate answering the short answer sections. Before submitting this form, please review your application thoroughly and make sure all required sections have been filled in completely and accurately. You will not have the opportunity to make any changes to your application after submitting this form. Additional applications will not be accepted (one application per student).
When you submit your application, the message you will see is "Your submission has been received". You will not receive an additional email message. Acceptances will be communicated on a rolling basis by April 30, 2025 once decisions have been made for a particular research opportunity. If you are selected, you will receive a follow up email at that time.

If you are selected, students will discuss with the lab hours and additional detailed information about the opportunity with your assigning department.
